Before founding Heart of Gold Fine Jewelry, LLC, Debra attended and graduated from Southern Connecticut State University where she received a B.A. in Social Work. From there she began her career in this field, working as a Social Worker for the town of Westport. She has two daughters, Elizabeth and Jacquelyn.
Susan Portanova Rogliano
Co-Owner
Before starting at Heart of Gold, Susan attended the University of Connecticut where she received in a B.A. in Communications. From there she began her business career at Laura Ashley, where she served as Regional Manager for the Northeast. She is married and has a daughter, Catherine.
About Us
Debra and Susan, two sisters who were born and grew up in lower Fairfield County, began Heart of Gold Fine Jewelry in 1981. Their first year in business began with jewelry parties and door-to-door sales, and has developed into a well-known jewelry store and boutique in Stamford, Connecticut and the surrounding area. The store has been at its original location for 29 years.
As a small, family-run and intimate business, the staff maintains a personal relationship with their customers.
